On September 30th, Sycamore Creek Family Ranch held an official grand opening ceremony.

The ribbon cutting marked a milestone in the ranch’s 17-month journey of development (so far). Within this 17-month period, the timber frame barn was constructed, property cleaned up, roads revamped, the ranch house renovated as a private event venue, a wedding business built, and many events hosted. Whew! There is certainly plenty of reason to celebrate!
Guests enjoyed delicious Campfire Cookies from Sugar Leaf Treats.
Guests also received a Sycamore Creek Family Ranch ornament and a certificate for a tethered hot air balloon ride at the Fall Festival.
The Branson Chamber of Commerce, close friends, and staff were present to help us celebrate our grand opening.
Mike and Lisa shared the story of Sycamore Creek’s early journey with those in attendance.
Keith Chancey of Kanakuk Kamps united guests in a beautiful prayer of blessing for the ranch.
The day culminated in the ranch’s first old-fashioned barn dance. The dance was called by Gloria Scarlet.
Kim Lansford and a friend provided live music.
To say this was a fun way to end the day is a complete understatement!
As we celebrated with our ribbon cutting and barn dance, we remembered all the ways God has consistently provided along the way. We give him credit and praise for our progress so far.
And so we continue this pilgrimage trusting God to continue to help us develop Sycamore Creek Family Ranch as a place where families are nurtured, encouraged, and championed through quality family activities and events. Thanks for joining us for the adventure!
