Policies

Unaccompanied Minors: Sycamore Creek happily welcomes ages 16 and up without a parent or guardian (be prepared to show an ID.) Ages 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian as we are not able to supervise your children and are not responsible for their safety, well-being, and proper conduct while on the Sycamore Creek property.

COVID Disclaimer: Those who have been vaccinated, or have recently had (and recovered from) COVID, are welcome to attend. Those who have not had COVID or have not been vaccinated acknowledge and assume the risk of attending a public gathering at Sycamore Creek. We always recommend following CDC guidelines. Masks are not required but recommended.

Reservations: Tickets can be pre-purchased online to ensure entry.

Seating: We have seating around the perimeter of the barn and limited seating on the back porch. If you'd like to sit outside on the lawn, please bring your own lawn chairs.

Refreshments: This is a multi-generational, family-friendly event. We do not allow alcohol anywhere on the property at our barn dances. Bottled water, a variety of old-fashioned sodas, Gatorade, and tea are available for purchase.

Concessions: Sycamore Creek Pizza Co. food truck will be onsite with wood-fired pizzas available for purchase. The pizza truck will open at 6:30.

Music: We hire an emcee who plays music from a playlist on our excellent sound system at the barn. Light dance instruction is provided.

Type of Dance: Texas two-step, some country waltzing, swing dancing, and line dancing. No aerials, please.
